Junior Kids Discos (Ages 5–10)
Our children’s disco parties are typically run as a 2-hour show, designed to keep little ones busy and happy:
- 45 minutes of fun games and dancing
- 30 minutes for you to serve food and cake
- Another 45 minutes of party games and dance floor fun
You don’t need to worry about entertaining the children – we handle it for you. As a parent you can relax, enjoy the party and just step in for the food break and photos.
Interactive Party Games Children Love
We don’t just sit there and press play. From the very start we’re out front, leading the fun and interacting with the children. Popular games include:
- Musical bumps, statues and chairs
- Simple team games and races (space permitting)
- Follow-the-leader dance games
- Parachute games like “Popcorn”, “Mushroom” and “All Change”
- Classic Limbo competitions – always a favourite!
We adapt the speed and style of games to the group so things never feel too babyish or too grown up.
Party Dances, Chart Hits & Teen Discos
No kids mobile disco is complete without classic party routines. We keep the floor full with favourites like:
- Conga and “Music Man”
- Hokey Cokey and action songs
- Group party dances and sing-along anthems
As children get a little older (around 7–10), we mix in more team games and challenges – balloon races, hoop relays and other fast-paced activities that work brilliantly in bigger halls.
Teen Disco – Cool, Not Cringe
For teenagers, the focus shifts towards a more “grown-up” disco. Some still enjoy games and party dances, others just want a proper chart and club-style playlist. We talk to you and your teen in advance to get the balance right.
Evening teen parties, especially at weekends, are priced in line with an adult disco – but we still tailor the music, lighting and interaction specifically to your teenagers’ taste, with no limit to a simple 2-hour slot.
Glow UV Kids Disco Parties
Children and teens love a UV party. Our Glow UV Disco Party transforms your venue with:
- UV lighting that creates a purple “glow” around the room
- Brilliant effects on white, neon and fluorescent clothing
- Optional glow accessory packs – bracelets, sticks, necklaces, glasses, bunny ears and neon face/body paint
- Laser and FX lights for a mini nightclub feel
It’s a fantastic way to give older kids something special and very “Insta-worthy”.
Add Snow Machine Fun
You can also add our popular snow machine for a magical “winter wonderland” effect:
- Realistic falling snow effect

- Ideal for kids 6+ and adults
- Snow evaporates quickly – no mess
Safety, DBS Checks & Practical Considerations
Your children’s safety and comfort are a top priority for Mindy’s Roadshow.
- All DJs are DBS (formerly CRB) checked.
- We can avoid strobe lighting if any child is sensitive or epileptic – just let us know.
- We’ll check with the venue regarding smoke alarms before using any haze or smoke effects.
- We recommend daytime or early evening slots at weekends (finishing before around 4.30pm) as most DJs have evening weddings and adult discos too.
